Onyx by J.P. Morgan was launched in October 2020 to reimagine how businesses are built, grow and interact by developing innovative applications that leverage cutting edge technology.   • Liink by J.P. Morgan, a blockchain network of banks that facilitates payments and banking information exchange
  • Coin Systems, a global provider of shared ledger solutions enabled by JPM Coin
  • Blockchain Launch, a leader in productionizing new applications and shared platform technology

CheckMatch is a new business within the Liink Platform, to make check payments more efficient. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience across all aspects of building a fintech business from the ground up, and who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.

We are seeking talented candidates to join the CheckMatch product team as a Client Success Associate (Originators) role. This role will focus on all aspects of the business that relate to clients on the "Originator" side of the CheckMatch marketplace (i.e., clients who are sending paper checks on behalf of their customers today), including supporting both client-facing product development and business development activities as well as interfacing with internal CheckMatch and other JPM stakeholders to represent the voice of the client. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Client Success for Originators.

Sample activities include:
  • Work with clients to identify and action opportunities to grow volumes and scale the business, in partnership with Liink Commercialization
  • Understand client requirements for new feature functionality, and collaborate with CheckMatch team to define and build high value features
  • Document and work E2E with all stakeholders to clearly define and prioritize all development requirements for the originator client
  • Create client-facing collateral and documentation, e.g. user guides, client reporting, etc.
  • Support client issue management in concert with Liink Operate, CheckMatch Biz Ops & Service, etc.
  • Partner with Liink Onboarding & Implementations team to drive client integrations
  • Partner closely with the client engagement team in discussions with originator prospects
  • Complete market research and analysis to identify and prioritize prospective clients

The ideal candidate may bring the following types of experience:
  • 3+ years of experience working in financial services, ideally in Product Management and/or payments
  • Self-starter; desire and ability to work in a start-up type environment nested within a large and complex firm
  • Client centric; excellent communication skills, high EQ, strong commercial instincts and highly detail oriented
  • Analytical and technical proficiency; ability to translate client needs into detailed requirements
